The garden transformation

Wellllll welll welll, where to begin, we finally decided to start sorting the garden!

As you can see from the pictures it needed it!

We had one of those hedges which I can only describe as a prick from hell bush! And one of those bendy fences the kind you try and tie up only for it to fall in to next doors garden once you have spent hours trying to get it to stay upright :).

First on the list get rid of the fence support (hedge) then what to do with all this hedge once its down. We are very unlucky with the fact that mid terrace house's dont have rear access so everything comes through the house. One very unhappy Mrs.

Right next job get the fence sorted,  we get on with our neighbours but sharing a garden is a step to far and a little close to Mormons for my liking.

First trip to that ever so convenient diy shop b and q to get the timber for the fence. Now I hear you all cry why b and q you can save money if you get it from a timber merchant.

Now im one for shopping around and getting the best price but you find me a timber merchant that is open all day Saturday and Sunday and one where I can buy just one more feather board!

So up goes the fence well..... lots of cutting and measuring, screwing and hammering and tada its up!

My only complaint I have is the width of the feather board I would have rather gone for wider boards mayber 150 instead of the 100 that b and q stock but hey you cant have everything.

Oh and I forgot to mention the help from my little man.

Fence tick

Next the dreaded decking...........

First weekly wipe / roundup :)

Hello again,
I would like to start by saying I am a football fan (not a thug or anything like that) I enjoy watching football and playing. However I support a little known london team who got a thrashing yesterday. All I have to say on the matter is good things come to those who wait (and spend some money)
This has been a rather nice week I have had the week off work managed to get my hair cut, paint the lounge and best of all the school run :) . I have so many questions about the school run first being why drive 5mins around the corner only to end up further away from the school than if you had walked in the first place!
I am so nosey too and spend so much time looking around and thinking what do they do and why can they do the school run everyday and not me.... I just need to let go and accept that I don't need to know and I will be back at work next week and I can go back to not caring.
This weeks successes.
First is my big boy riding his bike without any help! Just got on and rode!
Hair cut was a big challenge as I hate sitting there talking nonsense with someone I dont know! Are you some sort of thief why do you want to know where I live and when im going on holiday. .. hmmmm.
Anyways enough ranting.
I will sign off with one of the best statements from my little 5year old.
Mum "what colour is my hair"
Little one "mum your hair is a pooey brown"
Got to love them :)
Catch you soon
